Among 218 submitted individual project proposals, 71 involve a project partner from one of the donor states. The figures are especially encouraging for Norway, as in all cases but one the partners are from the main donor state.

Poland announced an open call for proposals on 21 December 2006 making almost €177 million available for individual project applications under the financial mechanisms, established by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. The applications can be submitted from 2 January 2007 and deadline for submission is 16 April 2007.
